In 1980 Domenic Carnuccio began his transition from working at General Electric Aerospace in King of Prussia, PA to his passion and love in counseling.  Throughout his corporate years, Domenic spent much of his time counseling prison inmates at Chester County Prison and volunteering his services in the physical rehabilitation department at Sacred Heart Hospital in Norristown, PA.  Enjoying his profession in the aerospace industry since 1977, Domenic received a Professional Recognition Award.  However, he found that his greatest satisfaction came from counseling others.  After much consideration and discernment, Domenic took an educational leave from the corporate world and completed his B.A. in Social Sciences at the Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio.  He also received a National Collegiate Award in Student Government.  After graduation, Domenic continued his pursuits in counseling and worked in various counseling agencies in Chester County, PA.  At The Chester County Hospital, he was able to explore his passion in psychology and medicine through his work with cancer patients and their families.  During that time, Domenic worked extensively with people of different ethnic origins from all over the world.  He was also the chairperson of The Chester County Hospital Vision Statement.  Domenic was featured in many articles in The Daily Local News and lead a local radio program about relationships on WCOJ 1420 AM.  He earned his Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Immaculata University in PA.  Domenic is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well as board-certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).  His counseling experience extends over 38 years offering a wealth of knowledge and insight to those who seek his services.

Since establishing Carnuccio Counseling LLC in 1997, Domenic has worked with many professionals including CEO's, executive VP's, physicians, surgeons, attorneys, professors, educators, and clergy, as well as those experiencing critical transitions, lifestyle changes, and major decisions.  He has also helped people with medical conditions such as cancer diagnosis and treatment, fatigue from chemotherapy, radiation, and dialysis, amputations from diabetes, vascular or other related conditions, and other life-altering conditions even blindness.  Clients experiencing the psychological aftermath of a heart attack, unexpected surgery, and heart, lung, and liver transplants and other long-term or unexpected illnesses have benefited from Domenic's counseling.
